I received a call from the son yesterday and he informed me he had never see this group before. He remembers his Father leaving in May of 42 and was discharged in Sept of 45. Remained in the reserves into the 60s. He was with the Air Transport Service and flew supplies over "the Hump." He was also surprised that I had his dogtags as he thought he had thrown them out when he was discharged. Anyway, he supposed to check the paper work he still has to see if he can come up with anymore information about his service
