D-Day attributables

Marion Grodowski, Fox Co., 506th PIR, 101st AB. He was born in Poland, grew up in Chicago, and volunteered for airborne training. He was a veteran of D-Day, Carentan, Operation Market Garden, Bastogne and ended the war at Berchtesgaden, where he was the last person to speak with Luftwaffe General Kastner Kirdorf before he committed suicide. He saw the body and picked up his P08 off the floor as a souvenir, which he kept until he died.
