hi guys
i saw this cap for sale (35 euro) and i want to know if this cap is a pre-ww2 or post war
any info is welcome

The garrison cap with branch piping was worn from about 1940 through 1956. Somewhere along the line it's likely that this particular example has been played with by a variety of snake known to collectors as the "Patch Adder." The green and white piping was for the Armored Center and attached units and the airborne patch would not have been appropriate. Someone has taken what is about a $8 hat (in the U.S.), added a $5-10 patch and come up with 35 Euros. It's the new math!
