Kia engraved purple heart, Bronze Star and silver star grouping opinions

I don't normally collect American militaria but couldn't pass this one up. Don't know all to much about it but believe it to be a good find. Bought the group from the family member of the soldier. The soldier was in the 36th infantry division in ww2 where he was killed in 1944. Thoughts and opinions on the group is much appreciated

    thanks

Trying to find everything I can about him. The family member is searching for more items of his including documents pics and service records. He was killed in 1944 That's about all I've learned other than where he lived. Getting a few German items he had sent home before his death later This week.
