    My vet-aquired U.S. "militaria"

    Well, they had to have a clean toshy... no?

    Ok, I have a couple of other things that I'll take a picture of , but what I wonder is if it's harder to get U.S. militaria than German militaria from the vets. After all, this is their stuff, not just something they picked up somewhere along the way. Like Greg's story in the Showcase forum, does this stuff stay in the family?

      Hey Seba,
      What usually happened to me was they wanted the Nazi stuff and could care less about dad's stuff. So, I have all kinds of US stuff.

        Not so hard.

        A lot of old-breed Marines will happily give or sell their items to a younger Marine. I have gotten some nice uniform items that way.
