Aloha Hunt,
That sounds good!! I wanted a helmet that would represent an early Vietnam Era Helmet. I picked up the helmet at least 30+ years ago and it was because my mom gave me a newspaper dated April 15, 1968 and a picture of a smiling US soldier. He was our neighbor and left for Vietnam on March 26, eighteen days later during a patrol he was killed in the early morning darkness in Phua Thien, Vietnam. Back than neighbors were more than just someone living next door, they were family and my mom kept it for all those years then gave it to me years later.
Mahalo,
Rodney
