Military Police Liner.

Hello,i'm not familiar enough with this type of headgear; what do you thin about this liner ? It's a rayon type webbing, but, the paint ? I assume it's difficult to say if ww2 or not. Thank you.

Hello, I need advice please.

It is in deed an early rayon suspension with a snap in sweat band, a hard to find liner. As for the paint there is really no way of knowing who did it or when, personally I don't like it, I find it a bit sketchy (yes pun intended) I don't think the Army and especially an MP would have such a crudely painted liner. This would have been worn by an MP in Class A's and on duty and MPs are know for their sharp appearance. The only person that knows for sure about the paint is the person that painted it but the liner itself is a very good piece.
