    AAC Parachute, Airplane Type

Hi All, I have just purchased this..... it was too interesting not to buy !!
Im not up with the play on US AAC kit and this is no exception ! can anyone enlighten me on the dates of use for this type and service use ? ive had a look around online but as yet have found very little other than later than 1926 and earlier than 1941 !
    any help much appreciated !!
Its a nice harness made by Irving in NY and the pack is made by Irvin Canada. There is no canopy in the pack and it holds a 'filler' so i suspect this will have been used for training later in its service.
    thanks in advance

    Tim

That’s a training back pack carrier, as you suspected, pre-WWII. I’ve seen it referenced in a document you can find online published in 1929.
