I don't like them when the front and back of the numbers are the same color.
This is one rare patch. I would pass if it were me. Also, it doesn't look like the border is OD, it looks like AG44 which is DEFINITELY wrong.

Hmmmm.... That bites. I hope it's just the camera flash. It seems that dark green would really show up against the yellow, and there look to be a few white threads running through the black of the number.

I'll ask the seller a few questions.

        Thanks!

The 760 numeric looks right to me.
I'll have to see if it shows up in the OOB.

I don't like the back of that XVIII Corps patch, it just doesn't look right to me.

Without seeing the back, I have to say that I like the smaller numerals/ letters.

Yes, I definitely like the looks of Kurt's patch much better.

                        Thanks for posting it.

Here's the back of my XVIII. It's what I like to see in a 1940's era patch.

                            Allan and Kurt,

On the reverse of the patch I posted, there really isn't much of the white thread on the cannon either. You can just see a few threads running through the numbers. Obviously when I get it in hand I'll be able to tell more, but is there any possibility this one might be good??

                              Jim-
If the seller didn't ship it yet, just have him send your money back and save the round trip postage. There's NO way it's a period patch (besides the Roman numerals looking "strange", that reverse shows it to be a more modern-made patch)
