    Fake "English Made" badges

I found these listed on ebay and thought you guys might find this interesting. The seller had what he claimed to be an english made WWII US Army CIB. In his auction he posted this picture of all the other badges he has for sale that he claims come from the "obsolete stock of a military outfitter". Looks like a bunch of junk to me, but it may fool some people. Most of his badges are marked sterling, which is a red flag when it comes to WWII english made badges. Funny thing is his senior jump wing still shows the "L22" mark on the back! Some of these badges were not even used during WWII.

The scary thing is, on thier own some of these would be convincing.

I got a laugh out of the senior pilot wings! He has V-21-N on the back, which is the modern Vanguard mark for navy insignia!

And the back. It was most likely cast from a modern US made example.

Here's an original Combat Medic Badge by Ludlow. The red cross was no doubt unofficially painted on. As that's the way I found it, I'm keeping it that way.
