Does anyone recognize this DI? The seller claims it says "Pata Concita Fulmnt Natl" I know I've seen it before but for the life of me I can't remember.

316th Cavalry Regiment. A really nice DI! And, from the "16" (there's probably a "3" that's not visible) I can see on the crossed sabre branch insignia, it looks like you have a matching uniform.

Hi Kurt,

I have a request in for more detailed pics, have to wait and see.
This fellow also has the matching campaign hat with the same DI and the yellow hat cord and acorns.

That's a great looking DI. I really like the way it's constructed. Is this style of DI - that is with portions "cut out" uncommon? Anyway - thanks for posting.

The seller did state that the hallmark is W&HCO and by his/her discription it does sound as if it is a screwback.
