    Post WWII - Assmann made U.S. Insignia

    I just bought a shoe box of items containing U.S. ribbon bars, patches, and insignias. It was all pretty common stuff with the exception of this. It is a pair of Assmann made majors oakleafs rank insignia. I have seen Assmann made pieces before but never the clutch back type. Has anyone else ever seen these before? They are a first for me.

        Those are great. Like you, I've seen the actual insignia before, but never Assman-hallmarked clutches.

          Likewise, I have not seen Assman halmarked clutches either.
