The ribbons on this uniform are left to right, top to bottom:
    -Air Medal w/ 2 clusters
    -American Defense
    -American Campaign
    -Europe/ Mid East/ African Campaign
    -WWII Victory
-The last one I do not know, perhaps someone else here does.
A great website for these sort of ribbons is:

Well, I am a little lost. According to "The Call of Duty," the oak clusters are not for the AIr Medal - so what do they signify? Or was this changed after WW2? And what are the stars for?

Actually, they were changed to numbers after Vietnam. So, in this case, the oak leaf clusters are entirely proper. They signify subsequent awards - this guy had three air medals, for example. The stars are campaign awards - they signify the number of campaigns the guy participated in.

The last one, I believe, is an Italian award. Some sort of WW2 War Commemoration Medal or something. Being that he was in the 15th AF, that seems quite possible.

As an officer, he wouldn't wear the 3 yr service hashmarks. However, he probably was entitled to a 6 month overseas bar or two. For some reason, none are on this jacket.
