    Back.
The color of the patch is off because of my scanner. Sorry about that.

        Eric-

From what I can see of the reverse, it appears to be an original.

Nothing wrong with this patch, nice standard embroidery example.

May I ask, what a fair price would be to pay for an original one? I may know where one is, thanks

                    Joe,

Even with FSSF's history and "daring deeds," the original patches aren't really that hard to find. I believe a fair price would be in the $45.-$65. range, depending on condition. Anyway, that's what mine usually sell for when I offer up duplicates on eBay.

I'll buy all the $45 examples you want to sell.

With condition being what it is, what would you pay for the patch displayed in this thread?

Why I'd pay the price established- $45. I would then HOPE that the glue would soak off.

I've soaked enough patches to tell from the appearance of the edges and letters to the obverse and the water stains to the paper on the reverse, it looks like this patch may already have been soaked. Who knows, maybe the thumbtack holes rust will soak out too? I'll definitely keep you in mind at $45. for this condition of a patch.
