    US Gear finds

    Hello,

While out junking yesterday I came across a belt and a couple of ammo pouches. General Military gear from the cold war era. After looking at the belt a saw that it was made to hold multiple carbine or other ammo pouches!! Neat pick!!

I also picked up two 30-rd nylon ammo pouches. When I got home I saw that they were a very early version with the dividers that snapped in place and covered the tops of the magazines. They are dated 73. Great picks for a little money.

Nice finds! Didn't know they made belts with multiple snaps for pouches!

The belt is for use with the M-14. The canvas magazine holders snap onto the belt. The military used them into the early part of Vietnam. The Marines used them a bit longer. The magazine pouch as stated is for the M-16. I can't make out the date, but it is later issue. The early issue were canvas. They held 20 round magazines and had a different way of securing the pouch.

Nice finds for a few bucks.
        USMC belt for M-14 pouches.
Those M16 pouches with the dividers are nice also, especially a pair.
