    Lotta Svärd

I just had some Lotta Svärd pieces in which is an area that I am not very interested in, amongst them were these small pieces which I believe are skiing/marching badges. The gold one has makings on the back which resemble hallmarks, but I guess that they could just be maker marks, any idea?

Also any help with a value please as I will need to shift them.

    Thanks

    Don

I don't know why the gold one appears twice above!!

There was also this white star which I think is a training badge?

        Hi Don,
sitting at work doing the graveyard shift now so i don´t have access to my books ATM in regards of the different badges but the markings on the gold ski badge is as follows - 1st makersmark of Suomen Kultaseppä OY, 2nd national marking for Finland, 3rd is a silver (H for Hopea) marking with silver content 813, 4th is the marking for the city of Helsinki and the 5th is the year mark for 1943.
        Regards
        Hans N

Wow, thank you for the information Hans.

Any idea regarding value? I imagine that these are not particularly valuable or collectable, but they are outside of my area of collecting so I need to find them a new home.

          Cheers
          Don

            Hi Don,

regarding value i have no qlue. I don´t collect them my self anymore so i am not up to date with them these days and don´t even dare to make a guess

The "OL" on the membership badges is the manufacturer Oskar Lindroos from Helsinki as well.
            Regards
            Hans N

Well, since there is no right answer let's put it this way... If these were mine, I would be asking:
                • 70€ (2nd class)
                • 65€ (1st class with 2 cones)
                • 10€-15€ (3rd class)
                • 25€ (membership badge)
                • 30€ (which I am now offering for the 20 years badge)
                • 10€-15€ (10 years badge)
