Korean War H Series Pilot Helmet

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I have been collecting for only a couple years and researching for a couple years but mostly World War 1 and World War II militaria. I do have a couple of items from the Korean War and also the Vietnam War. I have an opportunity to purchase a Korean War Pilot's helmet. I've researched it somewhat and it seems to be either in H4 or an H3 series Gentex helmet. The liner is good, there are goggles with it and the microphone is attached. The gentleman is asking 100 dollars for it. My question is - Is 100 dollars worth it? I am working on pictures.

I dont know anything about KW pilot helmets but $100 sounds pretty reasonable....hopefully you can post pics soon....if not maybe you can email me some pics and i can post them for you.....mike

It is a H3 series.

The H3 had the grommet in the center of the exterior adjustment straps.

The H4 only had one adjustment strap with the "snap" towards the rear of the helmet.

Very nice condition, I would say lightly used. Is the helmet repainted, reconditioned? That would effect price. I would give a hundred bucks, then find period goggles, visor shield if they were so equipped. I would give the cash and run.
