North Korean Silk Battle Flag for Review

Up for review is a potential DPRK battle flag I purchased from a fellow collector locally a few weeks ago. Sadly there isn't too much in the form of how it was brought back except that it came from the veterans family, and also had a Soviet tank flag with it (I'm hoping to get the chance to take a look at that as well some time, but the collector currently has it displayed in his home.). Its the proper silk for these flags, and if memory serves me it appears exactly like the other North Korean battle flags I have had in the past. The ink printing is a little roupgh, and not as well done as the others. I would not be surprised if the quality dropped later in the war however.

I thought I'd post it here though just to get some second opinions though.

Looks good to me. Rare flag. I just picked one from the son of the vet, and thnakfuly I was able to have him write a small note telling what he knew about hsi dad's service and where he found the flag.

I'm glad it turned out to be a good one! It seemed right, but you never know these days.

Now I just need to find an original period DPRK uniform to go with it.

                  Very nice flag..

I have a few that were brought back by a Marine who was in a heavy machine gun section and several propaganda leaflets..

These flags are not too often found.
