please help on US Korean war medals

hi Guys, Glenn here. I was hoping someone could help me out with these medals. these are a gathering of what My Father in law would have received during his service in the Korean war in the US Marines. he was a front line infantry soldier. I saw his pics from the war but the Mother in laws house burned down some years ago and with it the pics. He passed away before I had the chance to meet him. My Wife was able to obtain his service uniform and I made her a shadow box for it and these medals that although are new are the ones he would have earned. can you please tell me in what order they would have been issued and/or what importance order in which they should be displayed from left to right. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Glenn

The medals are shown in the proper order; the red is on top when displaying the ribbon bars.

Are you sure the two stars are for the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and not the Korean Service Medal? They are worn evenly spaced on a (centered) horizontal line, one point up. [You can always search EBay's Korean War section for a rough idea.]

I do not know the precedence for displaying ribbons and medals together; someone else will have to address that.

                              Marksman Shooting badge

The marksman badge is not correct for this period. The correct bar would just read "Marksman". No hanging target.
