This looks like a quiet forum here

Recently found this at a Belgian house clearance. I was wondering if everything looked good and matching?

Nice group!! it is a commemorative medal for the Battle of Imjin where a large belgian UN contingent fought, together with Luxembourg forces and with the help of the US artillery, against chinese's people volunteers between the 9-13 October 1951 at the north of Chorwon.

Nice group.,everything looks right. The Belgian Contingent beret and collar badges are nice. I believe this badge was later adopted by the Belgian Para Commandos, possibly the 3rd. Thanks for posting.

@Irish, how can one tell the difference between the cap insigne from the 50's and the modern ones?
          Kind regards,

I have a Korean War era Belgian beret with the badge on it. I will dig it out and post a photo.

Here you go. The badge on the beret has a brown finish on it.
