I have had these two objects in my collection for many years and it was suggested to me that I start a request here for information. I am trying to find out exactly what these items are.

IMJin scouts

It's an advanced combat training patch issued between 1965-1990 for troops along the Demilitarized zone in South Korea. The early ones I believe are more scarcer then later issues. A serviceman would have to go through a rigorous training agenda before awarded one. There is also differing cloth and metal badge insignia involved also.
