Korean Flag - Hand Painted on Silk

Hey guys, I got this flag along with a WW2US army photographer grouping the other day, he served in the ETO and PTO during WW2, any thoughts on what era flag this is? Pre WW2 or just post, I tried to determine it but I know thier flag changed a couple times. Any thoughts?

The Korean flag, called taegeukgi, was approved in 1882, under the Korean Emperor Gojong, 26th King of the Joseon Dynasty.

When the Japanese ruled Korea, 1910-45, they banned the flag.

A new Korean flag, similar to yours, was designed by Koreans in exile in June 1942, and appeared everywhere, including "N. Korea" after 9 Sept 45, when Japanese forces surrendered in Korea.

Good bet your flag is post WW 2, pre-KW.
