North Korean Brought back items.

Hello, I hope you all don't mind seeing a few items from the commuist side of my collection. Here are two shoulder boards that were brought back from North Korea. The Vet I got them from, got them in the 1960s. He would not tell me what he was doing in North Korea. The only thing he said " I was doing things that I was not suppose to be doing." Would anyone have a idea of the rank of the one with two stars? Orgnially, it had four stars.

The rank is Lieutnent.
There are two stars on the board.And the service colour is red,then i guess the shoulder boards are for the army service personnel.

Is it possible to get better pics with higher definition?

Sadly no, my camera is not the greatest in the world. I need to get a new one.
