Korean pair

Hi.
Heres a pair and badge to a guy that took part in one of the most famous Korean battles ,the Glosters are the best remembered of the Imgin river battle and rightly so,
Here we have a group to a Trooper in the 8th hussars that also took part in the event both in the drive to relive the Glosters and the covering of their retreat, the unit lost a number of tanks and the ones that survived were said to be red with blood after the attackers through themselves on to the tanks the recipient of these medals fought in most of the 8th hussars actions in Korea.

Is the britsh KW war medal named? Assigned to the 29th Independant Bde, the 8th Irish Hussar was the first british armoured unit to serve in Korea.

Hi,
Yes it's named to 22306191 Tpr J Thackeray 8.H. no certificate but they came from the family which is local.
