How does one determine originality and era on the Order of the Rising Sun? I don't see any makers marks, perhaps I am missing them. Your input is appreciated!

Thanks GHP! My concern is that it looks as if these may be easy to reproduce. I dont see any sign of hallmark/makers marks which are often useful in determining originality. My background is mostly in Japanese swords and German WWI and WWII items, as well as British and Soviet items. My knowledge of Japanese orders and decorations is limited.

Looks like 1960+ piece.
As for the marks - check the ring (the small one).
There could be letter/digit mark.
