New IJN 1st pattern helmet cover

Happy new year all,

I wanted to share this very nice and heavily used helmet camouflage cover. I picked up lots of other bits too.

This was presented on another forum and was translated by Eric

I’m guessing this is the first pattern ? Are these a rarity these covers

Nice well worn, named & issued cover BUT you need to edit your post title. It's not IJN but actually an IJA cover and a second pattern army cover at that. First pattern have a star with no backing circle

It was ment to read IJA not IJN for the navy. I phone has a tendency to auto write what it wants.
Also thanks for the heads up on the star and patch configuration.
