Small Japanese Brass Battle Horn, Trumphet?

I picked this up yesterday with some other WWII Japanese items. This is a small horn or trumpet, actually quite loud. Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

Glad to help when I can. It's a tofu "Miyamoto-sei" horn. Offered for the equivalent of $150. One of the comments asks for the price to be lowered to 15000 yen and the seller agreed.
