Help With Identifying Japanese Shell

I am not sure if I have a Japanese shell or not. When I purchased the shell, the seller said it was a Japanese shell. The shell is 9 inches long. The casing is the same size as one of my Japanese casings. However, no Japanese markings on the bottom. Maybe one of you collectors might be able to identify it. Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I have two similar shells-one was made into a lamp. I believe that it might be a 25mm cannon shell.

It appears to be a late war unmarked Japanese navy 25mm AP round. Are there any markings to the projectile? Is there an opening to the bottom of the projo?
