YOSHIDA dissecting instruments box

I recently got a bag of bread from the Japanese army that contained this little bag and this sewing box inside.
The box is of the brand YOSHIDA which is a great brand of clothing item, founded in 1934.

Did this type of box equip Japanese soldiers? For them to patch their uniforms for example.

If someone already has, do you know the market value of this type of box?
