Helmet Help Pls

Would appreciate some help on this helmet. Is it WWII era? As always your help is appreciated.

imo the shell is a good one but i d'ont like the interior and the star is also not original on the helmet.

Oh, ok the extra rivet were added for the liner system. So used by an Asian country post war ? Heavily messed with. Star looks like a repro.

Original Japanese shell, but the liner and attachment method is wrong, likely to be post war Thai re-issue. Star is added as well.

Many thanks guys for the feedback. Just one more question. The star in question. It is attached with a split pin, is that always a bad sign?

Original stars do have split prongs, but they are nowhere near as thin as the ones on this helmet.
