    Nambu parts

Does anyone have any info on what length firing pin extension I would need on a 1941 Kokubunji pistol? The firing pin is 73mm in length with narrow striker. I have the spring. Would it be this simple that a long firing pin would have short firing pin extension rod, or does it depend on who the maker was?

The best place to get this question answered with 100% confidence is this other forum - very weapons centric

Kokubunji spring guides are all short 47mm in length with flat sides. They are not serialized, but are proofed. Heat treated (straw color) through end of production in 8/44.

Being more into the firearms side of collecting, I very rarely have an opportunity to help on this board. I've been a longtime lurker though.
