opinions on Japanese helmet please?

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on a helmet that I recently came into possession of, from my limited understanding of the subject it should be an Army issue Type 90 combat helmet.
I always wanted to add at least one Japanese helmet to my collection, as I said I don't have experience with Japanese militaria, but this one somewhat "feels" right, so it's either a helluva replica or it might well be genuine.. anyway, enough chit chat, let's share some photos, hopefully they're enough to have a verdict, if not (and if you'd be interested in seeing other details) please let me know, and thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for putting up the photos you have so far. I'm seeing good things and not so good things - best to post some more photos to get all the information out there before passing full judgement.

Would like the see the outside surface of the bare metal helmet shell - cover removed. Then a shot of the front emblem and the rivet like heads of the folding pins which secure the liner to the helmet. Shoot photos of any markings/stampings on the inside too - often located at the inside rear near the nape of the neck.

Next some shots of the INSIDE of the helmet cover, any marking, ink stamping, handwritten kanji, etc. If you could post a shot of the OUTSIDE of the cover with it laying on the helmet without the net on it

Also, do the threads which sew on cloth star disc go all the way thru into the inside surface or not?

With all of these photos added it will be easy to get an accurate evaluation of your helmet which is your original request.

Net is bad. With wear on cover patterned around bad net makes sketchy cover even less appealing. Need detailed pics of sewing in interior of cover. I don’t really like it though.

Thanks Dasboot2011 I agree with the others, its a complete repo from head to toe. Look how fuzzy the chinstrap is.
