    all the pics i have. according to the seller, it is 27 inches end to end, with a sharp blade. thank you

      are you absolutely sure about it being a modern production sword? the seller claims that she got it from a Vet who got it as a gift back in 1947 in Kyoto... could it possibly be a souvenir piece from that time? thank you

          Once again, it showed us that the seller's story can't be trusted. Or, you can trust, but verify it. What did the OP do to this end? Instead of asking us "are you absolutely sure"? We are at major disadvantage here, due to the limited information (some choice pictures by the seller) available to us. Only our knowledge on the subject prevailed.

            What an ugly sword, I think these are about 50 dollars or less. The blade is either aluminum or some sort of cheap alloy. Absolutely no chance the story is true!

              you can tell by the silk on the handle shows completely new...not appropriate for a 70 or more yr old sword..
