        Hope you're not too disappointed:

        1st one
        Isamu 勇1308 = 2nd Engineer Regiment, 2nd Division
Division in Java, Sumatra and on Guadalcanal 1942, Burma 1944

        2nd one
        Asa 朝2054 = 6th Company, 79th Infantry Regiment, 20th Division
A Korean division in New Guinea 1943-5

        3rd one
        Hyou 豹12023 = 7th Company, 41st Infantry Regiment, 30th Division
        Leyte, the Philippines 1944-5
        Back (I think)
        威18485 = 3rd Company, 9th Air Intelligence Unit

        4th one
        Teru 照7757 = 2nd Battalion Headquarters, 15th Infantry Regiment, 14th Division
Too bad it’s not the 3rd Battalion, which was on Peleliu. In the Paulus Is. anyway.

        5th one
        Yama 山3474 = 22nd Infantry Regiment, 24th Division
        Okinawa 1945

        6th one
Maybe the 110th Artillery (battalion, company?) redesignated from the 1st Battalion, 23rd Field Artillery troops? Don’t really know.

        7th one
        Kaki 垣6558 = 8th Battery, 22nd Field Artillery Regiment, 16th Division
Philippines on the Bicol Peninsula in 1941 and Leyte 1944-5

        Cheers!

Would the 3rd tag with the seperate unit info on back and X'ed out be a reissue tag from another soldier or was this soldier in that old unit and transfered with new unit info on the other side

Since the crossed out portion of the tag states: (2nd Div.) 2nd Reserve Engineer Company, I would imagine the same guy had his tag updated, but there might be other scenarios that are equally plausible.

Great looking tag, btw, love that patina.
