      Nice original sword.

      Check the top of the scabbard throat to see if the number matches the one on the blade.

        Looks good. Aluminum tsuka, iron tsuba, top latch version out of the Tokyo First Arsenal. Rough guess is it was made mid to late 1941.

              Numbers on top of scabbard throat do match in sequence and style of number.

                Nice one Bob! No one knows the name of the contractor with that stamp. Some call it the "ichi" stamp for the "1" kanji in the flower, just make communication easy.
