Translation for going to war banners

    Hello guys,

Just wanted some help in translating what is on these 2 “going to war” banners.
I’m not sure if they are period to pre 41 or even ww2, but I’m not fussed I]either but it would help to know.

Thanks for all the help and info.

Both banners ( from 2 different shops) were to give best wish to a person going to war.
Look like WW2 but no idea is it reproduction or period.

Thank you very much. What do the characters say? What shops did they come from?

One quick question, Does the bird on the left banner mean anything?

                Hawk/eagle ... bird of prey .... manly-man stuff, I think.
Taka are especially common on men's juban and haori linings because "...falcons and hawks became natural emblems of the Japanese warrior class due to their keen eyesight, their predatory nature, and their boldness.

The bird is a "Golden Kite", it has something to do with Japanese history and the first emperor Jimmu.
