Translation for a page in japanese photo album

    Hello,

Could someone translate this page please? This is the first page in one of my Japanese military photo albums from the 30s / 40s.

    Thank you very much.

It is an "in barracks" memorial for reserve officer candidates in the 68th Infantry Regiment, 10th Company.

It was cranked out by Shimizu Photo Studio in Gifu City.

Don't sweat the timing, Guy. I give stripped down "economy class" translations while you provide the extra mile of "1st class" -- something to aspire to.

              Hello,

I would like to solicit your help again for the translation of inscriptions on a second Japanese photo album.
There is also this postcard which is inside that I wish could translate also if it is possible.

I share an atypical photo that is in this album, or we see a Japanese who have what looks like a German helmet on his head ! ..

              Thank you, best regards.

Interesting picture. Could it be a Chinese soldier of Nanjing regime ? Because of the Dao sword and white top. Fatigue / work suit ?? Anyway it is a m35 helmet. They were sold to China nationalist's army, along with mauser C96, panzer and anything they could afford. Untill Japan insisted to Germany to stop the deals.

Either a war souvenir taken from a Chinese prisoner/body, or (more likely?) -- a Japanese soldier dressed up in captured equipment. I've seen similar photos of US GIs wearing German helmets, etc.

Besides, I don't think a Chinese soldier would display the sword's scabbard in such an unnaturally emphasized way.

I was thinking about one of the puppet government created by the Japanese such as the one lead by Wang Jinmei. They were allied of Japan and fight side by side. They created a LOT of states !

But Guy's guess makes sense too check this out :
