Yes, I agree unfortunately a copy. Many red flags on this one such as the nuts in the handle, shape of the blade tip, color and construction of components including the scabbard. (Sorry can't recall the proper Japanese terms for the parts. My apologies to the purists.) Hopefully, it can be returned.
