Questions about a IJN field cap

I’ve been offered a IJN late War field cap and was hoping to get some opinions because I have no experience with these. Unfortunately all I have are these two photos. Maybe some of the more knowledgeable members can enlighten me about what to look for with these. From what I’ve researched the cap looks proper, and the interior stamp also looks good, but I also know that they make excellent reproductions. Any help would be greatly appreciated
