Hi all, Ever see a helmet with a cover? This came as a grouping. Please advise.

thanks for the reply Ron, I think it might be some type of recycled uniform. Its a thin material. Never had a star (no holes)

Thanks for the comments guys, What attracted me to it was the "been there" look. Guam was/ is a swamp and the helmet reflects that type of environment.

can you post some photos of the inside liner? Like to see the back on the neck area where the metal ring ties into the metal shell. Also the inside top of the dome. If you feel over the front where the metal emblem would be under the cover does it feel like a star might be under it?

If you can a photo under the front pad would show the folded over tabs holding the front emblem on. Is there printed ink markings under the front pad?
