Hi,
Can I have your opinion on this flag ,compared it to the ones in the fake gallery and I don't see any similarities with the usual fakes ,has it a chance of being genuine comes with a good story but we all know about those,

As I mentioned up-thread, I asked someone whose opinion I highly value.

Hi,

I don’t like to bug you with questions from another forum.... however, this one yosegaki flag is bothering me. Do the signatures look all from the same hand to you? I’m not liking how the kanji are almost the same size, slant, etc. Of course there are some variations ... but I keep hitting on 中 and the “elbow” on the 7th stroke of 島 and similar “angle” strokes; also, many of the downward-sloping \ strokes look similar -- like a reversed “lazy S”.

Am I paranoid?

I am no handwriting specialist, so I can only echo your concern about lack of variety in writing styles, the fact that all lateral writing goes left to right and the name of the elementary school in the lower right bottom is obscured. I personally find nothing desirable about this flag and it is outside my personal comfort zone and not a one-looker. It depends on how far out on a limb one is willing to go and whether one wants a sure thing.

U misunderstand.
The flag should have different handwriting by different peoples. What we see here is a flag with same handwriting by 1 person, may be 2 to 3 which make me and Guy uncomfortable.
