Picked up a bayonet also. Not sure of a armory marks.

Jacket is an original ARMY jacket, unissued stock (no name inside)
Insignia is possibly original, NAVY, mid-late war insignia, but it is sewn on wrong (they were sewn in corners, not all around).
Bayonet is original, but common.

LOL.... that's what you get for an impulse buy. If I detach IJN patch......what kind of value am I left with? Ballpark...anyone.

Think I’m finally going to remove the insignia. I’ll post close ups of the insignia to make sure it’s right. Trying to get some funds together......BruceP.....lol.

Sine I’m starting my journey into Japanese collecting with my passion, edged weapons.....about what should I sell the tunic and patch for separately? Don’t want to price to hi or low....just fair. I’ve heard around $75 for tunic.
