Brian, 7206 is the 380th Independent Infantry Battalion, 58th Independent Mixed Brigade.

It greeted American troops landing in Lingayan Bay the Philippines on January 6, 1945.

Left column is soldier #418.

It refers to the 3 kanji soldier number that follows. If you go to the pinned threads you will see one on how to read numbers.
