Red Cross Medal - Help Please

I just acquired this Red Cross medal but haven't been able to determine exactly what it is from the research I've done. I seems to be very similar to the "Red Cross Medal of Merit" but the ribbon suspension device is noticeably different. Any help would be appreciated:

Glad to help.

You stated the suspension system is different. Were you comparing it to the image in the award document? Or, were you thinking of the medal issued to women? It has a long suspension device similar to a knight's cross of various orders.
