Japanese pilot wings possible on flight suits?

Did Japanese pilots wear their wings on flight suits?
I've only seen pictures of wings being worn on tunics so far...

Was it a practice to have this insignia also worn on flight gear, like pilots jackets?
(like most other air forces did)...or only rank + nationality flags?

    So like this?

If yes, ay period photos available? I could not find any so far...

No period pictures of this practice? Most other nations had pilots add their wings to outer flight gear...did the Japanese do so?

Here 2 more examples from the same reference book...First examples just laid on the suit it appears...

Just can't seem to find proof that it was actually done...wondering!

I have never seen an untouched example with the wings on it. If it was a common practice, it would likely be found in numerous period pictures.

In my opinion they were never worn on flight suits just on service dress tunics

hi nick i have a collection of japanese flight crew photos none (bar one) have wings on flight uniforms only on dress uniforms rank badges and national flag armbands (on home defense pilots) are not uncommon on flight suits but wings dont seem to be official wear the only exeception i have is a pilot from the nomohan incident who looks like he has a set of wings on his flight suit over the left breast
