Wartime aircraft drawing: who can read Japanese signs?

I found a wartime drawing in a Japanese book with modern captions. Unfortunately, I cannot read Japanese. I am interested in the meaning of Nr. 41, 44 and 38.

Can anybody help me with the meaning of these items?

Number 38 is in katakana so I can give it a try. バッテリー: Patsuteri ichi. From google trad looks like it means "battery".

Thanks a lot! That actually makes very much sense. The device 38 in the drawing looks like a lead battery that was attached using metal straps (due to its weight).

Any idea about the other two?

I was curious about the "Return Device" so delved a bit deeper:

Thanks a lot! I also searched the www using the Japanese signs you provided for item 44. It appears to be a homing device used together with the radio sets. See e.g. where this text appears in the description of Japanese WWII aircraft radio equipment here:

Item 41 'engine cowling' doesn't fit somehow. You used different signs for the translation than the ones in the Japanese document. How did you translate this? I would expect that item 41 is a transformer to generate alternate current from direct current for the radio system.

PS: Found it! No. 41 means receiver (受信機)

So, we have:

38: Battery
41: Receiver
43: (probably) Direction Finding Device

I didn't expect to see the radio receiver at the location indicated in the drawing as it is known to have been installed in the rear fuselage based on aircraft that still exist today. But the drawing may have been from an early stage in development and changes may have been made in the serial production layout.
