    WWII Japanese Translation Help Needed

Hello : I bought a Japanese WWII Naval Officers Sword today and it had 2 handwritten in Japanese on cloth tags ..one attached to the handle and one to the scabbard ..Both written the same .. Here are pictures ..Could someone please help me to translate what it says ..I take it that when the sword was handled over the original Japanese owner wrote his name on this tafg hoping it might be returned ..Did not know if it says more than his name .. Brent, you'll have a better chance of receiving what you ask for if you post them vertically instead of horizontally.

How about posting some photos of the entire sword and scabbard. Always nice to see another sword.
