I don't see any cause for concern regarding authenticity. Best to wait for Thomas (gunto) to comment though as it's his area of expertise.

Late war period, Due to the missing Habaki(collar) and celloid rayskin.
The only "issue" I have ,is the missing wire on handle.

Due to the lack of materials late war, the dirks began to lack skarkskin covered scabbard and metal sakura mekugi.
