Genuine Wakizashi ?

Today during my normal weekend foraging at boot sales and the like, I saw this blade, it looks and feels good but I'm completely lost with this type of thing. As the seller only wanted £10 for it, I didn't have to much to lose if it's modern/copy.
Photos are not the best, but what are the chances it's a good one ?

Definite Japanese wakizashi. I have a difficult time reading kanji sideways. The writing should be displayed vertical with the top being towards the tip. It appears to be a Bizen school wakizashi.
