Type 90 helmet, flea market find

Back in the day no one collected these. I bought one out of Shotgun News back in the early 80's for $15.00 and sold it for $20.00 a few years later. I did a quick check on line and was stunned at some of the asking prices. I figure at $40.00 I can dress it up with some repop stuff and still be ahead of the game if and when I sell it.

Yeah man for sure, it can be a nice little project either way, weather you choose to keep or unload it !

I don't know squat about Japanese helmets but I think you did very well at $40.

Maybe the price on this navy shell is due to rarity but the dealer is asking for a heck of a lot more...for a simple shell.

Its a grey navy shipboard helmet and rare. Thats why the high price.
